Identity and address of the controller

For anything related to your personal data, email legal@kidolabs.org. That address is handled by the person Kido Labs has designated to process personal data requests.
Personal data we process
- What you send us by email. When you write to us, we process your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to share about your project. If you include them, also your company name, job title, and phone number.
- Technical data from your visit. Our infrastructure provider processes data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Aggregate visit measurement. We use an analytics tool that counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying you.
We don’t ask for sensitive personal data. Please don’t include it in your messages.
Purposes
We use your data for these purposes, which are necessary to handle your request:
- Answer your messages and questions.
- Prepare and send you the proposals or estimates you ask for.
- Follow up on any business relationship we agree on with you.
- Run the site and protect it from abuse.
We don’t use your data for any other purpose, such as advertising or newsletters. If we ever want to, we’ll ask for your consent first.
Consent
By writing to us after this notice has been made available to you, you consent to the processing of your data for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect, using the procedure below.
Processors and transfers
We rely on providers that process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. Hosting and delivery of the site, security, and aggregate visit measurement.
- [Email provider pending]. Receiving and sending email.
We don’t transfer your personal data to third parties, except where the Law allows it without your consent, for example when a competent authority requires it.
How to limit the use or disclosure of your data
Email legal@kidolabs.org and tell us which use you want to limit. We’ll confirm the outcome by email.
Access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition (ARCO) rights
You can access your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@kidolabs.org with:
- Your name and how you want to receive our answer.
- A document that proves your identity or, if you act on someone’s behalf, your representative’s identity and authority.
- A clear description of the data concerned (not needed for access requests).
- The right you want to exercise or what you are asking for.
- Anything else that helps us locate your information.
For a correction, tell us what needs to change and attach supporting documents.
We’ll give you our answer within 20 business days of receiving your request. If it’s granted, we’ll carry it out within the following 15 business days. Both periods can be extended once, for the same length, when the circumstances justify it. For access requests, we’ll send your data by email once your identity is verified.
Withdrawing consent
To withdraw your consent, email legal@kidolabs.org with your name and the processing you withdraw it from. We’ll answer within the same periods as an ARCO request.
Cookies and tracking technologies
This site doesn’t use cookies or tracking technologies that identify you. Visit measurement is aggregate and stores nothing in your browser.
Changes to this notice
We’ll publish any change on this page, kidolabs.org/en/privacy, with its last-updated date. If a change requires your consent, we’ll ask for it before applying it.
Competent authority
If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you can file a complaint with Mexico’s Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the competent authority under the Law.
